Why make a game with John Woo?

Here’s the first post from the new Stranglehold blog on IGN. Yes, we have another blog now… yes it’s weird to have so many different websites for just one game. But, you gotta go to where the people are, and believe it or not, not everyone reads my site. So enjoy!

So why make a game with John Woo anyhow? This is a question we get asked with a decent amount of regularity. For those of us that grew up watching John Woo’s films in dingy art house theaters, the answer is obvious: because Woo’s the best action filmmaker ever! But it’s more than that really. There’s something about Woo’s films, especially Hard-Boiled, that make them ideal for receiving the videogame treatment.

Ok I have an idea for a new video game but im only 14 years old, but I have a pretty good idea, I was wondering if you could help me maybe get this game noticed and try to get it created and released into stores. The game I want to create is called Sniper, where you are in the army and get sent on missions to snipe people out. Just incase you get caught, you’ll have side weapons like a pistol or M16. I think this is a really good idea so please write me back.

    Thank you,
