I’m getting lots of replies about how to turn the devices off. The problem is that they will turn *on* when a button is accidentally pressed or held. 😜

Serious request: if you're making electronics in this day and age, please give them an on-off *switch*. The Oculus Go, Oculus Quest, and Magic Leap will get bumped, turn on in your bag, drain their batteries, and leave you outta luck.
